The human immune system serves as the first line of defense against diseases. Poor nutrition is regarded as the most important reason for immunodeficiencies. If you want to maintain your immune system, you will have to maintain your intake of vitamins and minerals. You have to make sure that your diet has a proper balance of all nutrients.
